ABOUT MEETING HOUSE LANE MEDICAL PRACTICE

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

JOB SUMMARY : Responsible for but not limited to assisting the physicians in the exam rooms, for escorting and assisting patients within the center, for setting up and maintaining the exam rooms in a readiness state for patients and for monitoring supplies and equipment.

Schedule is 9 am to 5pm, required one weekend day for our EH Walk In employees only

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Escorts the patient to and from the exam room and assists the patient in necessary preparation for the physician visit.
• Responsible for taking vital signs, collecting specimens and performing procedures (EKG, Spirometry, etc.)
• Make use of the Quality Assurance instrument to keep track of health care maintenance activities.
• Assists with the examination of the patient, as directed by the medical provider.
• Maintains the exam room between patient and physician use to ensure readiness for the next patient.
• Maintains other areas of the facility as directed.
• Responsible for the ordering, restocking and maintenance of supplies, vaccines and equipment used in exam rooms and rest rooms.
• Responsible for maintaining medication samples and vaccine distribution logs; and destruction of expired medication samples.
• Performs the duties of the receptionist as directed by the Office Manager
