• Utilizes approved protocols and interim care to provide recommendations to callers experiencing medical symptoms\n
• Utilizes approved electronic health information and / or reference sources to provide health information to callers\n
• Assists E-Care Line callers with complaints and commendations and informs appropriate personnel of complaint / commendation\n
• Provides assistance to callers seeking information about community health and / or physicians\n
• Provides call back / follow-up services to patients (as needed)\nCommunity Relations : \n
• Assists with community health fairs (as needed)\nRecordkeeping / Reporting : \n
• Records patient information and informs appropriate provider\n
• Documents Compliance Hotline calls and submits information to NMHS Compliance Officer\n
• Electronically documents data / information obtained on E-Care Line calls\nEducation : \n
• Maintains continuing education (CE) hours\n
• Assists in orienting new employees to the Call Center (when applicable)\nRegulatory : \n
• Adheres to NMHS / NMMC Policies / Procedures / Guidelines\n
• Complies with applicable State / Federal policies / guidelines / regulations\nRequirements : \n
• Associates Degree in Nursing; required\n
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the States of Mississippi and Alabama; required\n
• Must be certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR); required\n
• Minimum of 4 years of clinical experience (Emergency / Urgent Care, Pediatrics, Primary Care); required\n
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; required\n
• Working knowledge of computer hardware / software; required\n
