VHS is looking for a qualified Physician - Neurology.

Shift Details : 7A – 7P or 7P – 7A

Schedule : Monday through Sunday : 7 on 7 off filling in gaps maybe be able to split some weeks

Work Details :

Support staff : APP or another provider for days and solo for nights

Department Description : general neuro – consulting service will be primary responder to stroke service and run service – don’t have to have vascular but need to have recent stroke due to running stroke service. could be back up at tele stroke at ARMC and may have to go to ARMC for inhouse relief

Patient Volume : 20 per day and can fluctuate

Patient Age Group : adults

EMR / Documentation System : EPIC

Skills Required : Primarily be running the general neuro service and that has a very high stroke volume including responding to code strokes. There is a separate stroke service during the day but overnight they would be available to see those patients as well although not officially ‘following’ them.

Minimum experience required : Must have recent Stroke experience

Credentialing Timeframe : 60 – 90 days

OT : 1.5 x normal rate after 12 hrs per day
