Senior Product Manager

POSITION SUMMARY : Senior Product manager is responsible for implementing product strategy, supporting research, assignment and release of parts for Mexican regional vehicle applications to ensure maximum revenue and compliance to fit form and function that meets or exceeds OE specifications for specified part categories. Also responsible for the growth strategy, identifying market opportunities through customer insights. Drive innovation, growth and operational excellence. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

• Implement regional product strategy and develop regional product platform to ensure maximum application coverage and revenue for the assigned region using available data sources in line of regional market needs for quality, pricing, features and benefits
• Conduct OE part number research and prioritize high potential applications to applicate
• Identify sourcing partners and collaborate with sourcing team to validate sourced parts
• Collaborate with MDM and item release team to set up new part information
• Participate in quality and validation testing of product line parts
• Collaborate with catalog function to develop regional product coverage reports and customer communications
• Conduct periodic reviews and manage critical revenue, coverage and margin KPIs
• Maintain understanding of prevailing market trends in the related categories in the region
• Business case development, building financial justifications for new products.
• Market support by positioning the product, developing technical content, and launching materials. QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, & Skills required)
• Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field. MBA preferred.
• Experience : 10+ years of experience combined product management, engineering or research, in Mexico in the automotive aftermarket
• Proven track record in process improvement, project management, managing new product releases and product launches.
• Leadership and problem-solving related to logistics issues.
• Business English language proficiency.
• Microsoft Office suite skilled. Product Knowledge
• Familiarity with Mexico automotive aftermarket, parts distribution, is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of product and catalog management tools Soft Skills

• Experience working with data and content via various systems / formats including ERP, PIM, ACES / PIES and TecDoc.
• Proficiency in product and project management tools, MDM platforms, and data analytics.
• Strong experience in data governance, master data clean-up, and ownership frameworks.
• Change management experience, particularly in transitioning from decentralized to centralized models. Language
