  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $3320-$3560 / weekly\n
  • Units Overseen : ICU (6 beds), Med / Surg (12 beds), Emergency Department (12 main rooms, 3 fast track rooms)\n

    • \n\nQualifications – ICU Director (RN) Requirements\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state\n
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care leadership experience (ICU or Emergency Department preferred)\n
  • Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certifications\n
  • Strong hands-on leadership and clinical support skills\n
  • Experience with Meditech EHR preferred\n

    • \n\nICU Director Responsibilities – Interim Nursing Leadership\n \n

  • Provide 24 / 7 accountability for ICU, Med / Surg, and Emergency Department units\n
  • Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary healthcare team including RNs, Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and team leads\n
  • Ensure survey readiness and maintain regulatory compliance (mock survey scheduled for January)\n
  • Collaborate with hospital leadership to uphold audit, metrics, and operational standards\n
  • Drive improvements in patient throughput, clinical outcomes, and patient satisfaction\n
  • Foster a culture of caring, compassion, and excellence in line with the hospital’s mission\n
  • Oversee care for diverse patient populations, including acute care, extended care, and psychiatric patients\n
