WILL FLOAT TO LEWISGALE MEDICAL Hospital : LewisGale Hospital Pulaski & LewisGale Medical CenterLocation : Pulaski, VA & Salem, VAAddress : 2400 Lee Highway Pulaski, VA 24360Unit Name : DietitiansBuilding : Cancer CenterCost Center : General InformationUnit Specifics : Number of Beds : N / A (outpatient) Patient Ratios : 6-15 patients per day on average seen by dietitian Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Type of equipment : N / A Documentation system : Meditech Scheduling requirements : Mon-Friday Floating policy : Dietitian coverage needed 3 days per week at the LewisGale Pulaski cancer center and 2 days per week at the LewisGale Medical Center cancer center. Patient Experience requirements : 1-2 years clinical experienceHospital Specifics- Certifications : RDHiring profileRequested Skill Set : Experience with oncology nutrition Must have : RD Advanced skills needed : Procedures performed on unit : Nutrition assessment and weekly reassessment for outpatient cancer center patients. Patients seen include all those getting radiation head / neck, lung, stomach, intestines, rectal, prostate, etc. Anywhere in which radiation can cause nutrition related side effects. Patients include those getting full treatment, palliative radiation patients excluded. Occasional chemo patients by consult.
