Healthcare Staffing Professionals, Inc. is looking for SPED Teacher to work in a school setting in Salem, OR. The candidate will work closely with students, parents, and other educators to create a supportive and effective learning environment that addresses the individual needs of students with behavioral challenges.
Pay Rate : up to $2,287 per week (based on working 37.5 hours a week) = ($61 / hr)

Job Duties :
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) focused on behavioral goals and academic standards appropriate for kindergarten students with special needs.
- Utilize positive behavior support strategies and interventions to promote a safe and productive classroom environment.
- Conduct assessments to monitor student progress towards IEP goals, adjusting strategies and interventions as necessary.
- Collaborate with special education staff, general education teachers, administrators, and families to support student success and inclusion in school activities.
- Provide direct instruction in a variety of settings, including one-on-one, small group, and whole class formats, adapting methods to meet students' needs.
- Participate in professional development opportunities related to special education, behavior management, and early childhood education.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress, interventions used, and communications with families and staff.
- Advocate for the needs and rights of students with behavioral challenges within the school community.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.Valid Oregon teaching license with endorsements in Special Education and Early Childhood Education, or eligibility to obtain.Proven experience in behavior management and special education, preferably with young children.Knowledge of current best practices in special education and behavioral interventions.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development in the field of special education and behavior support.
