Description :

The position is for a Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit.

This role requires a commitment to work 3x12-hour day shifts.

On-call availability is required, along with weekend and holiday shifts.

Floating to other units is necessary, and no block schedules will be accommodated.

Candidates with ICU training willing to work in a PCU setting are welcome to apply.

A dysrhythmia exam must be passed within two attempts, with study materials provided.

Candidates must possess skills in blood product administration, care of ventilated patients, and central line management.

Experience in managing cardiac drips and interpreting dysrhythmias is essential.

Candidates should also be familiar with telemetry monitoring and possess skills in phlebotomy and IV management.

Knowledge of isolation precautions and non-invasive airway management is required.

The unit serves adult and geriatric populations, with a daily census of 12 patients.

Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy.

The unit has 12 beds and provides care for a variety of patient diagnoses.

All applicants must comply with vaccination requirements as specified.
