Location

Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is dedicated to preparing ethically conscious civil engineers and environmental engineers for the evolving demands of industry. By combining rigorous academic foundations with practical, research-driven experiences, we aim to cultivate future leaders in the field. We emphasize strong student-faculty relationships to ensure our students are fully prepared for success in professional and academic careers.

Key Highlights :

• ABET-accredited undergraduate programs (BS in Civil Engineering, BS in Environmental Engineering), a graduate program offered online and in-person (MSCE in Civil Engineering), and an interdisciplinary PhD with specializations in Smart Infrastructure, Innovative Materials, and more.
• Hands-on laboratory experience in all relevant upper-level Civil and Environmental courses.

Practice-ready curriculum aligned with evolving industry needs.

Job Summary

Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a pool of open rank, part-time and limited-term faculty positions in Civil and Environmental Engineering for the academic year 2025-2026. These positions are on an as-needed, semester-by-semester basis. Rank is determined at the time of hiring and will be commensurate with credentials. These positions are for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
