A well-established, mission-driven home care organization—known for its compassionate, professional service—is seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Home Care Sales . This is a opportunity to lead and shape the business development and marketing strategy of a respected agency poised for growth in Philadelphia and surrounding regions.
Position Summary
The Director of Home Care Sales will be responsible for leading all sales and referral development operations, with oversight of marketing strategy. This includes managing a growing sales team, building referral pipelines, and expanding the agency’s footprint in both traditional and digital channels. The role requires an executive with deep experience in inside sales, provider relationship management , and preferably, knowledge of the unskilled home care industry .
Key Responsibilities
Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing sales team to consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly referral goals.
Drive new business through relationships with physicians, hospital discharge planners, case managers, supports coordinators , and other community partners.
Oversee marketing functions, including digital strategy (SEO, paid ads, email), community events, print campaigns, and branding initiatives.
Analyze and report on sales performance, conversion rates, campaign ROI, and lead activity through CRM.
Ensure all marketing and referral efforts align with the unique positioning and compliance needs of non-medical home care services .
Represent the agency at community outreach events, health fairs, and regional provider meetings.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable state regulations regarding marketing and referral activity.
Provide regular training and mentorship to the sales team on best practices for inside sales, follow-up, and outreach strategy.
Uphold strict confidentiality around strategic plans, referral data, and organizational priorities.
Qualifications
3+ years in a healthcare sales leadership role , including direct oversight of referral generation and team performance.
Inside sales experience required ; must be able to coach team members on lead follow-up, scripting, and conversion.
Home care or elder services experience strongly preferred , especially with unskilled care services such as personal care, companionship, and homemaking.
Familiarity with Medicaid, waiver programs, and supports coordination a strong plus.
Proven success managing cross-functional teams and marketing projects.
Excellent communication, leadership, and team development skills.
Proficient in CRM platforms (Salesforce or similar) and performance tracking systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Relocation Requirement : Must reside in or relocate to the greater Philadelphia area before starting.
Work Location : On-site presence required; not a remote position.
