About The Position

Job Title : Invasive Cardiovascular Technologist

Profession : Tech

Shift : 07 : 00 - 17 : 30

Hours per Shift : 10

Experience : Minimum of 1 year in adult Cath lab diagnostics and interventional procedures

License : RCIS or RCES

Certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS (only required for specific locations)

Must-Have : Team player, flexible, accustomed to fast-paced environment

Description :

Floating between departments and local locations within 20 miles is required.

Responsibilities include adult cardiac catheterization, cardiac devices, electrophysiology, and / or structural heart.

Ensure complete and accurate documentation is maintained.

Ensure accurate medication, charge, and reporting accuracy of daily procedural case load.

Respond to and provide emergent care.

Perform administrative tasks such as ordering supplies and maintaining inventory.

Ensure maintenance of equipment and cleanliness of the lab.

Assure preparedness of procedure rooms and compliance with local and federal regulations.

Must have successfully completed at least one 13-week travel assignment.

Preferred experience includes 3 years in adult Cath lab diagnostics, interventional, or electrophysiology procedures.

Required education is an associate's degree in a related field, or four years of experience can be substituted in lieu of a degree.
