Roles & ResponsibilitiesPurchasing- Negotiate with vendors on product availability, specifications, pricing, distribution plans, and delivery deadlines.
- Evaluate and select suppliers based on product quality, cost competitiveness, required documentation, and shipping schedules.
- Ensure purchased items meet company standards and profitability goals at the warehouse level.
Market Research- Conduct market analysis, competitive shopping, and sales trend analysis to identify new and trending products.
- Research and respond to field and store-level issues related to product performance, availability, or quality.
- Support the introduction and distribution strategy for new items.
Data Analysis & System Management- Prepare and analyze weekly sales data to support purchasing and inventory decisions.
- Review and analyze daily and weekly sales and inventory reports.
- Create, update, and maintain accurate item master data in SAP, including item descriptions, scan codes, and related information.
