Job Summary

Teach a variety of instructional courses related to Computer Information Systems at Chandler - Gilbert Community College.

Essential Functions

Supervises and instructs a diverse population of students in a classroom setting; develops written syllabi / course outlines and course materials; evaluates knowledge of subject matter taught and monitors students' scholastic records; prepares and grades assignments and exams, Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

The Occupational Teaching Fields require any of the following experience and / or education from an accredited college or university :

A. Five (5) years of occupational experience in the field to be taught OR

B. Three (3) years of occupational experience in the field to be taught and a Bachelor's degree OR

C. A Master's degree in the teaching field OR

D. A Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate credits in the teaching field OR

E. A Master's degree in any field with a combination of 24 upper division and / or graduate credits in the teaching field (Upper division courses are Junior and Senior level courses in obtaining a Bachelors' degree)

Desired Qualifications

A+ certification, CyberSecurity Certification, CompTia Certifications (A+, Network+, Security+, Data+, IFT+) AWS, Linux.MOS Certifications in Excel, Access, PowerPoint and / or Word

Special Working Conditions

Must be available to work from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Mondays through Thursdays in person.
