About The Position

Job Title : Physical Therapist

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (07 : 30 AM - 05 : 30 PM Monday-Thursday, 08 : 00 AM - 12 : 00 PM Friday)

Experience : Minimum 1 year of outpatient experience required; first-time travelers accepted

License : Current Physical Therapist license

Certifications : BLS, Dry Needling, Manual Therapy, Hand Therapy (preferred), Wound Care (preferred)

Must-Have : Outpatient experience; lifting and transfer skillset required

Description :

The position requires outpatient experience.

The schedule is Monday to Thursday from 7 : 30 AM to 5 : 30 PM, with a one-hour lunch from 12 : 00 PM to 1 : 00 PM.

On Fridays, the shift is from 8 : 00 AM to 12 : 00 PM with no lunch break.

The total weekly hours amount to 40.

Rehabilitation hospital experience is preferred.

The daily workload involves treating 10 to 12 patients.

Specialized skills in lifting and transferring patients are necessary.

The facility caters to a diverse patient demographic, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.

The team works collaboratively to help patients recover from various conditions.

Successful candidates will demonstrate a high level of competence in facilitating functional rehabilitation and managing patient care effectively.

Experience with an electronic medical record system is recommended.

Floating to different units may be required based on patient census and staffing needs.

The role demands strong time management skills and the ability to follow safety protocols.

Engagement with family education and patient care plans is essential.

A comprehensive range of therapeutic techniques and knowledge in patient assessments is expected.

Candidates should be prepared to implement treatment strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
