We’re looking for Skilled Production Technicians with a strong work ethic, hands-on skills, and the ability to adapt quickly to diverse tasks. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic, specialty shop environment where moving efficiently from one job to another is essential.

You will play a critical role in the manufacturing of large industrial commutators and slip rings used in some of the world’s most demanding applications, including submarines, draglines, steel mills, paper mills, and electric utilities.

Schedule :

  • 1st Shift : 6 : 00 AM – 2 : 00 PM
  • Monday - Friday

Responsibilities :

  • Use manual mills and lathes to machine parts
  • Transition efficiently between various tasks across manual labor and machine operation, including CNC saws, CNC mills, and welding operations.
  • Use riser welders, spot welders, and hand tools to fabricate and assemble components.
  • Measure and inspect parts using scales, micrometers, and precision tools to ensure accuracy.
  • Load, unload, and handle materials safely and efficiently.
  • Work collaboratively in a team environment while maintaining nimbleness and adaptability.
  • Follow instructions, learn new skills, and contribute to improving production workflows.

    • Requirements

  • Basic proficiency with manual mills and lathes
  • Good attitude and willingness to learn
  • Proven experience in a skilled trades role, preferably in a specialty shop environment.
  • Proficiency in operating tools like CNC saws, CNC mills, and welding machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret scales, micrometers, and technical documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Physical stamina to perform labor-intensive tasks, stand for entire shifts, and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attendance record and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work safely with power tools and follow management instructions.
