Job Title : Frontend UI Developer

Location : Austin, Texas(Hybrid 2days / week)

Job Description :

The Frontend UI Developer will be responsible for performing User Interface and Web Services development for enterprise applications. The role involves developing responsive front-end applications using modern technologies such as Angular , converting SOAP-based services to RESTful services , and developing new RESTful APIs in a JBoss EAP environment.

Responsibilities :

Perform User Interface and Web Services development for enterprise applications.

Develop front-end components using Angular and modern responsive technologies.

Convert SOAP-based services to RESTful web services .

Develop new RESTful services in a JBoss EAP environment.

Participate in requirements analysis , high-level and detailed design , development , testing , and deployment of new application components.

Collaborate effectively with other teams to accomplish project goals.

Create technical and design documentation , as required.

Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and problem resolution .

Analyze software for configuration and performance tuning opportunities .

Develop and maintain data and process models .

Employ modern testing methodologies to ensure applications function properly and without errors.

Provide technical support for testing and implementation activities.

Participate in design, code, and test walkthroughs to ensure compliance with technical standards.

Provide application support , including defect resolution , maintenance , and production operations support for web-based Java applications in an SOA platform .

Conduct root cause analysis and apply performance tuning techniques to improve application reliability and efficiency.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements :

8 Years - Required : Hands-on experience in Front-End / UI development , enhancing and maintaining enterprise-class JEE applications .

8 Years - Required : Hands-on experience in Server-side / Web Services development on the JEE platform .

8 Years - Required : Experience implementing Single Page Applications (SPAs) , including 4+ years using Angular and TypeScript .

8 Years - Required : Experience implementing RESTful services security using JWT , OAuth , and related standards.

8 Years - Required : Hands-on experience with JEE Application Servers , including authentication / authorization and caching strategies.

8 Years - Required : Strong programming experience with :

Java, JEE, REST / SOAP Web Services

HTML5, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, TypeScript

Spring, JSP, Struts, JSON, XML, JWT, Maven, OpenAPI v3, OAuth

8 Years - Required : Experience building responsive, client-facing applications .

8 Years - Required : Experience integrating web services into Angular or React SPAs .

8 Years - Required : Experience developing client-facing applications using JSP and Struts .

8 Years - Required : Experience building self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components .

8 Years - Required : Proven ability to apply best practices in application design, performance, scalability, and maintainability .

3 Years - Preferred : Hands-on experience with JBoss or IBM WebSphere Application Server (v8 or later) .

3 Years - Preferred : Experience with Agile development methodologies , preferably Scrum .

2 Years - Preferred : Development experience for mobile and tablet platforms .
