American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of cath lab and EP experience, ARRT certification, and TAVR procedure proficiency.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a hospital cardiac cath and electrophysiology labDay shift, 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PMNo weekend shifts; call required on weeknights and for one full weekend per monthCandidates may float within the hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearbyPrimary function involves operating fluoroscopy in the cath lab with cross-training in EP proceduresProcedures include TAVR and TMVR, with potential to assist in hybrid OR casesEpic EMR experience requiredPerforms technical functions including operation of fluoroscopy, procedural monitoring, and scrubbingMay support supply management, equipment stocking, and participate in unit development projectsCath Lab Technologists may be cross-trained to support EP procedures as neededAssists in TAVR and TMVR procedures in a hybrid OR settingReturn staff must have a minimum 6 month break before reapplyingLocal candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelersRTO must be submitted upfront and may not exceed 2 weeksCOVID-19 vaccination documentation is required for consideration\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum of 2 years recent cath lab experience requiredCurrent ARRT certification and OBMI license requiredCurrent BLS and ACLS (AHA) requiredTAVR experience requiredMust be a radiologic technologist with electrophysiology lab experienceEpic charting experience requiredCOVID-19 vaccination proof required; no exemptionsReferences from two managers or supervisors within the last 24 months required for considerationNo background or license hits acceptedLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
