Job descriptionOct 31 – Nov 3, 2025 Nov 7 – 10, 2025 Nov 27 – Dec 1, 2025 Dec 5 – 8, 2025 Dec 25 – 29, 2025 Jan 2 – 5, 2026 Patient Demographics : Adults Patient Volume / Census : Average 0 admissions while on call Admissions : No regular admissions Rounding : Yes, 4–5 hours daily on Sat & Sun Phone Consults : Yes Case Mix : Interventional and General Cardiology No. of Beds in Department : 80 (Hospital total) EMR System : Cerner Support Staff Available : APPs, Nursing staff Reason for Coverage : New Position Hospital Privileges Required : Yes (Full and Temporary Privileges available) Temporary Privileges Available : Yes Credentialing Timeline : 60 days Travel, Lodging, and Malpractice Insurance : Covered (Airfare, lodging, mileage, rental car & fuel) Lodging Cap : $150 / night before taxes / fees (no incidentals permitted) Rental Car : Mid-Size (Apr–Nov), Mid-Size 4WD SUV (Dec–Mar) Holiday Bonus : $500 for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day Interventional cardiology procedures as clinically indicated General cardiology care during weekend shifts Licenses : Active Illinois license (IMLC not accepted) Board : Board Certified in Cardiology (Interventional) DEA : Active DEA Certification required Certifications : ACLS, CSR Experience : Minimum 1 year in specialty Other Qualifications : Proficiency with Cerner EMR Provide interventional and general cardiology services during weekend call shifts Participate in 24-hour weekend call coverage two weekends per month Round on patients Saturday and Sunday (4–5 hours each day) Respond to emergent patient needs with a 30-minute response time Provide clear documentation of patient encounters and interventions Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and specialists across various healthcare settings, gaining insights and perspectives that enrich your professional practice.
