Responsibilities :
Collect specimens according to established procedures.
Ability to navigate a computer and accurately enter data is a requirement to be successful in this role.
Processing specimens including labeling, processing, and preparing for reference lab as required.
Perform administrative tasks including inventory, stocking supplies, sanitizing, filing, and answering phone.
Maintain all appropriate phlebotomy logs in a timely manner and based on frequency, such as maintenance logs and temperature logs.
Complete online and in person training courses in a timely manner.
Qualifications and Skills :
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Successful completion of an accredited Phlebotomy Program.
Willingness to become proficient in the use of our Laboratory Information System (Orchard).
Experience with Veradigm (Allscripts) is preferred.
Must be able to work as a team member and interact positively with others.
Maintain strict confidentiality of work-related information.
