Goldsboro Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Goldsboro, NC, is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation. Our clinical team provides compassionate, high-quality counseling and therapy to patients that are seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.
Your Job as a Certified Medical Assistant :
The Certified Medical Assistant is responsible to complete clinical care and administrative tasks within the clinic, as defined by their certification within the state where the clinic is operating.
Job Responsibilities :
Responsible for taking vital signs, venipuncture, the collection of body fluid specimens for analysis and any other procedure in which they have been trained when ordered by the proper professionals;Demonstrates organizational skills and the ability to work with the public and a general working knowledge of operating an office in a medical or clinic setting;Works under the supervision of the Medical Director, the Clinic Director and Office Manager (if applicable);Assists the clinical staff in managing a specific caseload when their training and / or experience of working in an outpatient treatment program qualifies them to do so;May also be responsible for receptionist duties that include telephone answering, recording messages, scheduling appointments and ordering supplies, as assigned, with responsibility for the accountability system for receipts and cash control;May process incoming and outgoing correspondence; and,Perform other duties as assigned.Eligible positions may qualify for student loan forgiveness through HRSA, depending on clinic site eligibility. Qualifications
Your Education, Skills and Qualifications :
Medical Assistant training from an accredited programPrefer experience in a clinic or outpatient setting.Previous experience with behavioral health or addiction / opioid treatment recovery field preferred.Licenses / Certifications :
