About the "Department"

The San Juan Cancer Center opened its doors on April 3, 2006, providing state-of-the-art cancer care closer to home for residents of a huge seven-county area in southwestern Colorado. About The Career :

Performs as Adult Licensed Nurse Practitioner in medical oncology office. Reports to Director of Oncology Services. Works in collaboration with SJCC medical oncologists or other physicians under auspices of SJCC.

All About You :

Graduate of an accredited school for nurse practitioners.

Current Colorado RN license and advanced practice registration; Requires current NP certification; requires current BLS certification.

One year of post-licensure clinical nursing experience desired.

OCN certification highly desirable.

Privileges or eligibility to apply with Montrose Memorial Hospital.

Internal medicine, medical-surgical, acute care nursing, adult nursing, physical assessment, oncologic emergencies, pain management, paraneoplastic syndromes, basic hematology.
