Position Summary :

Assists professional nursing staff by performing specific patient care tasks.

Qualifications : A. Education :

High school graduate or equivalent.

1. CNA - Will be listed with the Texas Department of Health

Nurse Aid Registry.

2. NA – Completion of MCHS NA training and / or verification of

competence.

B. Training and Experience :

BLS Certification through the American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire or transfer to department.

C. Job Knowledge :

The certified nursing assistant / nursing assistant must have the ability to follow instructions precisely.
