Responsibilities
- The Territory Sales Manager will be responsible for driving new bookings by helping create end user demand, strategically planning territory saturation with our partner base and implementing strategies for rapid market share expansion
- The successful candidate will be a strategic, critical thinker, persuasive and well organized with high a degree of business insight and able to demonstrate the ability to build new demand, relationships, and strategies to win
- Actively promote Fluke to achieve sales quota by building rapport, providing training and support, and making end user calls
- Become a local authority in Fluke products and solutions
- Collaborate with other sales and marketing team members to prepare responses to proposals, provide product demonstrations and training, and address end-user customer needs
- Provide daily updates to Fluke’s CRM system and actively handle pipeline including consistent follow-up of prospects
- Ability to combine a high degree of technical knowledge with strong and persuasive communication skills
- Collaborate with local distribution partners to drive growth at the end user level
- Able to work remotely out of a home office with the capacity to travel to end user sites within territory (approx. 50-70% )
- Establish relationships with local distributors and end users to provide solutions to their problems using an array of Fluke equipment, software & services
- Leverage the use of internal Fluke support teams to optimally grow your territory
Requirements :
Candidates should have 5+ years sales experience in the calibration sector selling technical solutions – preferably with a focus in metrology applicationsA BS or equivalent four-year degree, specifically within an engineering or technical field / or equivalent work experienceDevelop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets in the assigned territory.Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the territory.Maintain and grow existing customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service and support.Provide product and technical knowledge to customers to assist them in making informed purchasing decisions.Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to potential customers.Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts.Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales activities and customer interactions in CRM.Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the company and its products.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developmentsMust live within assigned geography (Canada, WA, ID, ND, SD, MT, WY)Preferred Qualifications :
Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics or other CRM systemsFamiliarity with Power BI or similarExperience in channel / distributer selling and relationships.Cross functional team support with the Business Unit and Factory experienceAddressing high stakeholders internal and externalThis is a safety sensitive position.
