Shipyard Staffing / NSC Staffing is seeking skilled Marine Electricians w / Active Clearance for an exciting upcoming project in Kittery, ME. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 3 years of experience as a marine electrician, with solid working knowledge of shipboard and industrial / commercial practices, especially on military bases and industrial facilities.

Essential Job Functions – Marine Electrician :

As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for :

• Repairing, installing, replacing, and testing complex electrical circuits, cables, and equipment.
• Utilizing hand tools and specialized testing equipment for inspection and maintenance.
• Inspecting and testing various electrical systems, including lighting, signal, communication, and power circuits.
• Identifying defects in electrical systems such as wiring, switches, and motors using specialized tools.
• Replacing faulty elements such as switches, sockets, and wiring.
• Dismantling and repairing electrical machinery replacing defective mechanical or electrical components.
• Installing motors, transformers, and lighting fixtures and completing circuits according to diagrams.
• Working from technical documentation, including blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams .
• Providing guidance and leadership to junior team members.
• Ensuring all tasks are completed in accordance with established safety procedures .
• Participating in special projects as required.
