Construction Manager Residential Homebuilding

Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of home construction within assigned communities from foundation through final walk-through
- Manage production schedules to ensure homes are delivered on time and within budget
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality standards
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance, and workmanship quality
- Resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and maintain construction timelines
- Ensure all homes are built to company specifications, local codes, and quality standards
- Maintain accurate records including daily reports, schedules, and jobsite documentation
- Communicate regularly with purchasing, sales, and warranty departments to ensure smooth handoffs and customer satisfaction
- Build positive relationships with homeowners, trade partners, and internal teams
Qualifications
37 years of experience in residential construction management (production or semi-custom experience preferred)Strong knowledge of all phases of residential building, including scheduling, inspections, and trade coordinationProven ability to manage multiple homes simultaneously in different stages of constructionExcellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with construction management software (e.g., Buildertrend, Procore, or similar)Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and best practicesWhy Join Us
