Special Education Teacher 12 : 1 : 1 +3

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher for our 12 : 1 : 1 +3 classroom setting. This role involves working closely with students who have diverse learning needs, providing tailored instruction and support to help them achieve their academic goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in special education, classroom management, and individualized lesson planning.

• Duties
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Utilize various teaching methodologies.
• Provide instruction in core subjects.
• Employ behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment.
• Conduct assessments and standardized testing to monitor student progress.
• Collaborate with parents, staff, and other professionals to support student development.
• Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field; certification in special education is preferred.
• Experience working with children who have special needs in a classroom setting.
• Proficient in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques.
• Experience with behavior management techniques and childhood development principles.
• Excellent communication skills.

Pay : $60,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
