Service Desk Specialist

Summary :

We are looking for a tech-savvy help desk technician to be responsible for providing technical assistance with computer systems, hardware, and software. As a help desk technician, you are responsible for responding to email, chat, or phone queries and offering technical support to customers using computer systems, hardware, and software.

Job Duties : Primary Duties :

• Help Desk Specialist will manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
• Help Desk Specialist will respond to customer issues via phone, email, and computer chat
• Service Desk Specialist will provide customer assistance
• Service Desk Specialist will document customer interactions
• Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues
• Escalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty
• Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software
• Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
• Excellent oral communication skills
• Detail oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets
• Highly organized to keep Help desk tickets order

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is required to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. While performing the duties of this job the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vehicles. The employee is regularly exposed to ambient lighting and can be exposed to climates consistent with outside weather conditions.
