Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Salary : $684 / Week

Amergis is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide community-based care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This role requires a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (no CNA-specific duties are involved). You'll assist with daily activities like personal care, housekeeping, recreational outings, transportation, and more. DSPs work directly with individuals either in residential settings or community-based programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Support individuals with daily activities such as personal care, recreational activities, community integration, and transportation.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Document progress and ensure confidentiality of all information.
• Maintain professional relationships with individuals, families, and guardians.
• Report any health, safety, or behavioral concerns following company policies.

Shift & Contract Length : 36 / 48 split- Days or Nights

Sub Process : Auto Offer, No Interview, Standard Submission

Pay Rates : $19

Interview Process : None, Auto Offer

Facility Type : Group Home Support

Number of Beds / patients / students : 4 DSPs per house, 3 patients per house, 2 DSP on each shift

Dress Code : Any Scrubs

Orientation Info : Same Day / Time as Shift. Will Shadow on first day

Any Other Info : 36 / 48 split- 2 day classroom orientation followed by 3 back to back shadow shifts Tuesday, Wednesday Thursday are start days
