Profee Coding Consultant

A company is looking for a Profee Coding Consultant (HCC / Profee) to provide consulting services and educational support in medical coding.

Key Responsibilities

Review medical records and assign precise codes to ensure accurate coding aligned with client needs

Conduct data quality reviews of records to assess compliance with official coding and documentation guidelines

Identify documentation improvement opportunities and coding issues while upholding compliance and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

1+ year of coding experience

AHIMA certified credentials (RHIA, RHIT, CCS) or AAPC certified credentials (CPC, CPC-H, COC, CIC or CRC)

Experience in computerized encoding and abstracting software

Required to take and pass annual Introductory HIPAA examination and other assigned testing
