About The Position
Acute Occupational Therapist

Must-Have :
Current Arizona license in hand.
Ability to manage moderate to maximum assistance patients.
Experience with co-treatments and ventilated patients.
Ability to pivot easily and take on additional evaluations throughout the day.
Description :
The position requires an acute occupational therapist.
The shift is 5 days a week from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM.
The average daily census is between 14 to 16 patients.
First-time travelers are accepted.
A weekend day will be required to work.
The department operates 7 days a week.
The preferred candidate will be a generalist who is confident with medical diagnoses.
Candidates must be comfortable with lifting and transferring patients.
The role involves patient assessments, creating plans of care, and conducting evaluations.
Skills required include experience with amputee rehabilitation, arthritis, CVA rehabilitation, dementia and Alzheimer’s care, and discharge planning.
Additional skills in managing hip fractures, knee injuries, spinal cord injuries, and traumatic brain injuries are preferred.
Candidates will be expected to adhere to quality and patient safety standards.
The facility is a short-term acute care health facility and offers free parking.
There are no on-call or floating requirements for this position.
The candidate must work 2 out of 3 holidays and cannot have requests for time off during the first week.
References are required prior to the start of employment.
