ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska.

Opportunity : RN - ICU

Job Details :

  • Work 12-hour day shifts from 6 : 30 AM to 6 : 30 PM or night shifts from 6 : 30 PM to 6 : 30 AM
  • Every other weekend requirement
  • Every other holiday requirement or as needed based on unit needs
  • Float to all inpatient units excluding Maternity / NICU
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
  • Must pass open book exam on Friday during orientation with 90% score to continue
  • Driver's license required at submittal
  • Must be located outside 50-mile radius from facility
  • Cannot be employed full-time, part-time, or PRN with CommonSpirit affiliated facilities
  • Nurse to patient ratios : 1 : 1-2 in ICU
  • Required to titrate drips including vasopressors, paralytics, narcotics, sedation, and antiarrhythmics
  • Must be able to read and interpret telemetry strips
  • Work with adults and pediatric patients over 15 years old
  • Handle various diagnoses including neuro surgery, respiratory failure, sepsis, stroke, and renal failure
  • Navy blue scrubs required
  • Artificial nails prohibited - refusal to remove will result in contract termination
  • Two shifts of unit-specific orientation provided
  • Work in EPIC charting system
  • Fast-paced environment with volume fluctuations

    • Facility :

    This major healthcare facility serves as the primary tertiary hospital for the region, featuring a 34-bed Medical Surgical ICU with Level 1 trauma capabilities. The facility provides comprehensive critical care services including advanced cardiac support, neurosurgical interventions, and specialized equipment for complex patient care. The organization maintains a collaborative team environment working with attending physicians, fellows, and residents to deliver high-quality patient care in an acute care setting.
