SUMMARY
- This position is responsible for maintaining packaging material and inventory status to expedite the movement and rotation of packaging supplies.
- Hourly rate $22.29 - $24.26
FUNCTIONS
Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions
Knows and observes Plant Safety work procedures and rules, Environmental Practices and GMP guidelines.Operates a forklift to move and stage products and supplies.Reads production schedule (PID), inventory report and work orders to determine type and quantity of materials to be transportedto packaging workstations.
Unloads rail cars and trucks.Empties scrap sugar hoppers as needed.Loads pallets on palletizer and maintains pallets for tote bag system.Maintains cycle count accuracy through inventory counts and adjustments.Identifies, labels, and weighs non-consumable finished products and moves them to the proper storage location.Serves as backup for material handlers in the White Sugar Warehouse.Additional Responsibilities
