About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Shift : Day

Hours per Shift : 9

Experience : Must have cardiac cath lab experience greater than 1 year.

License : Certification from a recognized radiologic technologists organization.

Certifications : BLS Basic Life Support

Must-Have : Electrophysiology experience, EPIC, and MacLab experience preferred.

Description :

Performs advanced practice cardiac cath and peripheral angiography.

Conducts electrophysiologic studies, therapeutic interventional procedures, and cardiac device implantation procedures.

Provides peri-procedural care and education for patients.

Assists specialists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Maintains records and documentation for procedures.

Responds to call requirements with a 30-minute response time.

Participates in weekend calls as scheduled.

Works in a fast-paced, high-acuity Cath lab setting.

Engages in structural heart procedures, including Watchman procedures.

Tends to see approximately 15 patients a day.
