Construction Administrator

Seeking a U.S. Veteran, Guardsman, Reservist, and / or Military Spouse for a Construction Administrator (CM-CA) to provide Construction Management Services supporting our client's infrastructure upgrades across the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

The Construction Administrator (CM-CA) will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to the administration of construction, design / build, engineering, and facilities management for complex-construction projects. Services will include, but not limited to, pre-design phase services, design phase services, procurement phase services, construction services, claims services, administration services, and technical specialty services.

Pay Range : $73 – $88k year

Benefits : Full-time with benefits

Travel Required : As Needed

Clearance / Trust Level Required : Public Trust – Level 1

Essential Duties and Accountabilities

• Responsible for the construction analysis, development, design of and the preparation of complete plans and specifications for new work and improvements.
• Provides administrative oversight and evaluation concerning all construction disciplines as they pertain to all project work.
• Independently responsible and accountable for determining the administrative actions necessary in the development and completion of design projects, and review of the final contract documents.
• Determines how project(s) will impact medical center based on results of a risk assessment that could have a severe impact on patient care.
• Responsible for the overall management of construction documentation.
