Sr Manager Market Access - Pharma (Remote)

Position Summary :

The Senior Manager of Market Access and Patient Services leads a cross-functional team comprising Field Reimbursement Managers (FRMs), Market Access Managers, and Patient Services Liaisons. This role executes patient access and reimbursement strategies across targeted therapeutic areas, directly impacting departmental KPIs and P&L.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Strategic Leadership : Develop and implement national patient service strategies for education and order fulfillment.
  • Team Management : Lead and mentor a skilled team of service leads, including FRMs and Market Access Managers.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration : Build partnerships with internal stakeholders, including Sales, Marketing, Medical Affairs, and Compliance.
  • Operational Oversight : Oversee patient services programs such as co-pay assistance and hub services.
  • Compliance and Governance : Collaborate with compliance teams and vendors to uphold patient engagement standards.
  • Budget and Resource Planning : Manage departmental budgets, vendor contracts, and resource allocation.

Experience and Education Requirements :

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field (e.g., MBA, MPH).
  • Minimum of 10+ years of experience in Market Access or Patient Services, including 5 years in leadership.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and negotiation skills and ability to drive alignment.
  • Proven experience in managing high-performing field-based teams.
  • In-depth understanding of reimbursement processes and patient support models.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Experience in designing patient access programs and reporting KPIs.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Strong business acumen focused on patient-centric strategies.
  • The approximate pay range for this position is $180,000.00 to $210,000.00. Nestlé offers performance-based incentives and a competitive total rewards package.
