Position Summary
The Riordan Programs of UCLA Anderson School of Management works with over 300 students and 3,000 alumni. The Associate Director provides leadership, guidance and direction to the department's Program Planning staff.The position is responsible for The Riordan MBA Fellows Program which includes all aspects of outreach, recruiting program participants and implements initiatives that assist in meeting the recruitment goals. A primary goal is to motivate academically competitive and diverse pools to attend business school. Managing Corporate and academic outreach and activities; select and train volunteers. Interact with over 300 program participants, over 250 program volunteers, mentors and alumni. Research new programming activities for the Riordan MBA Fellows, Riordan Scholars and College to Career establishing new partnerships, and maintaining existing community and corporate partnerships. Oversee the development, production and distribution of all marketing materials and increase visibility of the Programs. Supervise staff and student assistants. The Associate Director is responsible for financial analysis and management. Track and monitor all program expenses, revenue, fiscal needs and prepare monthly balance sheets. Work closely with the Executive Director on donor relations and Fundraising Events. Manages one or more specific functions such as tracking alumni graduate rates, fellowships and implementation of salesforce. Serves on staff hiring committees.

Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to supervise large groups of volunteers and conduct oral group presentations to provide information and explain procedures. (Required)Experience implementing and evaluating educational / business programs. (Required)Skill in analyzing information, problems, situations, practices, or procedures to define the problem or objective, identify relevant concerns for factors, identify patterns, tendencies, and relationships, formulate logical and objective conclusions, and recognize alternatives and their implications. (Required)Superior interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively and diplomatically with members of corporate and professional organizations, university constituents and program participants from various social, cultural, economic and educational backgrounds. (Required)Demonstrated success leading and motivating teams in fast-paced environments with multiple priorities and deadlines, including the ability to supervise and give direction to staff, contractors, and vendors. (Required)Experience in program implementation and logistic to design and modify program curriculum, procedures and / or methods to increase efficiency. (Required)Demonstrated knowledge of program budget creation, management, analysis, and financial reporting. (Required)Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize, and maintain flexibility when working on multiple projects with conflicting deadlines. (Required)Demonstrated ability to work independently, creatively, with initiative and accurately with minimal supervision and within specific deadlines.
