Qwest Electric LLC is actively seeking a results-driven and detail-oriented Senior Electrical Estimator to take charge of the estimating process for large-scale commercial electrical projects ranging from $300K to $10M. Key Responsibilities

Analyze project plans, drawings, and specifications to prepare detailed cost estimates.

Prepare accurate and timely bid proposals for commercial electrical projects ($300K-$10M).

Use estimating software (ConEst preferred) to perform takeoffs and generate proposals.

Coordinate with project managers to ensure seamless handoff and execution of awarded projects.

Maintain organized documentation of all estimates, proposals, and bid activity.

Build and maintain relationships with GCs, vendors, and subcontractors.

Attend pre-bid meetings and jobsite walkthroughs as necessary.

Collaborate with leadership to refine estimating strategies and pursue target markets.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in electrical estimating (commercial / industrial focus preferred).

Expert knowledge of electrical construction, systems, and materials.

Proficiency in estimating software-ConEst experience strongly preferred.

Strong ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.

Exceptional organizational, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple deadlines effectively.

Team-player mentality with willingness to mentor junior staff and share knowledge.
