Claims Specialist I, Auto PD

Zurich is currently hiring a Claims Specialist I to join their Auto Claims Team. This is a great opportunity to advance your career in claims by interpreting, investigating, and evaluating auto policies and coverage issues, as well as claims handling and best practices. At this level, you will manage auto liability property damage and comparative negligence losses. This position will handle both comprehensive / collision and auto liability property damage claims. You will own your assigned claims from end to end, resolving claims according to best practices. Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area OR
• Completion of Zurich Claims Training Program and 2 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area OR
• Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree with 2 or more years of experience in the Claims Handling or Insurance area OR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 4 or more years of experience in the Claims or Insurance area AND
• Prior experience in auto claims handling, insurance claims, or a related customer service field. Understanding of auto insurance policies, coverage, and state regulations.
• Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s)
• Customer service experience
• Knowledge of insurance regulations, markets and products

We encourage candidates with salary expectations beyond the provided range to apply as they will be considered based on their experience, skills, and education.

The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed salary range for this position is $48,600.00 - $79,500.00, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 10%.
