Air Import Supervisor

Position : Import Supervisor

Compensation : $75,000 - 85,000 Annually

Core Responsibilities & Duties :

• Supervise a team of import agents to ensure timely customs clearance and transport of shipments
• Delegate work, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations to assign work procedures
• Solve problems that may arise with customer shipments
• Support billing functions as needed
• Maintain up-to-date customer profiles and rate structures, supports sales team with customer information and rates
• Support the negotiation of rates and contracts with shipping companies and suppliers to optimize costs
• Provide guidance and support to team members on customs procedures, documentation requirements, and trade compliance
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures to increase operational efficiency and reduce errors
• Other duties as assigned
