Community Service Officer

Under direct supervision of the Community Resource Coordinator, the Community Service Officer provides a wide variety of support services to the police and / or fire divisions, including responding to non-criminal and minor criminal calls for service; enforcing parking regulations; responding to housing complaints; conducting routine housing inspections; providing non-firefighting support at fire scenes; delivering vehicles, messages, and parcels within and outside the city; responding to complaints concerning animal problems or violations of animal control ordinances; investigating violations of animal control; and performing other duties as needed.
