Key Responsibilities
Manage all accounting functions including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and purchasing.Review, evaluate, and implement accounting systems, policies and procedures.Ensure all financial reports are prepared timely and accurately.Prepare and present financial statements and related reports, including balance sheets, income statements, cash‑flow reports, budgets and variance analysis.Supervise monthly book balancing and account reviews; prepare monthly financial statements.Coordinate the annual independent audit and preparation of tax documents.Direct budget preparation, review proposals and produce supporting documentation and justification for budgets.Provide management with timely reviews of financial status and progress.Ensure compliance with statutory payroll and property tax reporting.Monitor receivables to mitigate credit risk.Oversee the accounts payable function, ensuring compliance with expense reporting, capitalization policy and purchase order procedures.Hire, train, supervise, motivate and develop accounting and finance managers; manage schedules and workflow.Assist with company strategic planning and special projects as required.Demonstrate ability to interpret economic conditions and anticipate impacts on the organization.Apply strong organizational, problem‑solving and analytical skills; manage priorities and workflow.Adapt to changing priorities with enthusiasm and flexibility.Qualifications & Core Competencies
