Tax Accountant Position

We are looking for a skilled Tax Accountant to join our team in Dallas, Texas. This role involves applying tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timeliness in tax-related activities. The ideal candidate will have experience in corporate tax accounting and be capable of preparing detailed tax provisions, returns, and payments while adhering to internal policies and controls.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare quarterly and annual global tax provisions using specialized software such as OneSource Tax Provision.
• Assist in developing monthly tax forecasts to support financial planning.
• File U.S. federal and state tax extensions accurately and on time.
• Complete U.S., international, and state tax returns utilizing OneSource Income Tax software.
• Handle local country income tax and indirect tax returns, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Conduct research on federal, state, and international tax issues, documenting findings comprehensively.
• Provide support during tax audits by responding to notices and compiling necessary data and schedules.
• Collaborate with the Vice President of Tax on special projects and initiatives.
• Manage additional tax-related duties and assignments as required.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in corporate income tax and compliance.
• Proficiency in preparing annual tax provisions and utilizing tax software, such as OneSource.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. federal, state, and international tax regulations.
• Ability to conduct thorough tax research and document findings.
• Experience with sales and use tax processes.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Capacity to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with team members and leadership.
