Family Medicine Physician – MUSC Health Orangeburg – Occupational Health Interest Preferred

MUSC Health - Orangeburg is seeking a dedicated Family Medicine Physician with interest in Occupational Health to join our team at a rural primary care clinic. This role is ideal for a compassionate and community-oriented medical professional who is committed to providing comprehensive healthcare services to a diverse population in a rural setting.

About the opportunity :

• Provide comprehensive primary care services, including diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing care management.
• Conduct physical examinations, order and interpret diagnostic tests, and prescribe medications.
• Develop and manage effective treatment plans for acute and chronic diseases prevalent in rural areas.
• Offer guidance on disease prevention and health maintenance.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
• Conduct Workers Compensation assessments and manage related cases.
• Perform Department of Transportation (DOT) medical examinations as a certified medical examiner.
