Northrop Grumman Mission Systems Manufacturing Engineering is seeking a Manufacturing Systems and Industrial Engineering Manager to join the Sykesville Operations Engineering Team. The Manufacturing Systems and Industrial Engineering Manager will be responsible for ensuring the successful performance of a team of approximately 15 manufacturing and industrial engineers as they :

• Design, document and implement executable processes and detail assembly / manufacturing instructions
• Develop and maintain manufacturing routings and standards to allow for manufacturing schedules and plans that ensure adequate labor, facilities, equipment, tooling, and materials are available to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Support to the floor personnel, collaborators, and programs to achieve business and financial objectives

The ideal candidate must perform in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high visibility operation; work well in a team environment; and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. They must have a passion for people, innovation, and excellence, along with the ability to effectively collaborate with multiple disciplines to solve complex issues.

Salary Range : $149,400.00 - $224,000.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and / or personal business.
