Dietary Aide
Hudson Springs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dietary Aide to join our team. Our Dietary Aides play a vital role in ensuring that residents receive nutritious, appealing and safe meals every day. The Dietary Aide assists in the preparation, serving and cleanup of meals in accordance with federal, state and local regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures. The Dietary Aide helps create a positive dining experience for residents in our long-term care community.

Duties and Responsibilities :
Prepare and serve food and beverages according to resident diet orders and planned menus.
Assist cooks with food preparation as needed.
Set up meal trays, food carts, and dining areas.
Deliver meals and snacks to residents in a timely and courteous manner.
Collect and clean dishes, utensils, and equipment after meals.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas.
Follow infection control and safety guidelines at all times.
Communicate effectively and respectfully with residents, families, and co-workers.
Perform other related duties as assigned by the Dietary Manager or Supervisor.

Hours : Varies
Status : Full Time and Part Time, Every Other Weekend

Skills and Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in food service, healthcare, or long-term care preferred but not required — we are willing to train the right candidate!
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
