Directs the action of children and traffic at assigned crosswalks in order to ensure safe crossing of students.

- Reports consistently for work as scheduled
 - Performs other duties as assigned
 - Attains proficient or higher evaluations on established Performance Standards
 - Directs action of children at an assigned crosswalk in order to ensure safe crossing
 - Directs visitors to office
 - Escorts children across the street and parking lots
 - Issues verbal warnings, reports misconduct, and requests assistance from appropriate personnel as required
 - Maintains communications with the building principal and / or Colorado Springs Police Department, El Paso County Sheriff's Office, or Air Force Security Police regarding incidents that occur at assigned locations that could potentially impact the safety of pedestrians
 - Monitors student(s) behavior, ensuring their compliance to district / building rules, policies, and regulations
 - Supervises parking lots and school grounds
