Join to apply for the Associate Director, Tech Product Management role at KPMG US . KPMG is seeking a product management leader within the Digital Nexus technology organization. This is a hybrid work opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall delivery of technology products for KPMG Emerging Technology products and releases using agile and other product management methodologies; set a tactical plan to execute strategic objectives of programs and ensure development of actionable strategies aligned with firm priorities.
- Resolve conflicts between individuals and teams with an assertive but friendly approach; provide effective methods for managing and resolving impediments.
- Act as an expert in estimation and planning techniques; explain and teach release planning in an empirical environment; clarify differences between Scrum scaling frameworks and approaches.
- Advocate for modern agile software development and organizational practices (e.g., XP, CI / CD, DevOps, TDD); automate project status flow and facilitate real-time transparency for decision making.
- Coach individuals, teams, and programs to clarify goals, address anti-patterns, and implement plans to achieve stronger results; use agile techniques to improve development team efficiency.
- Coach product owners on managing a scaled backlog of epics and features; mentor product owners in backlog creation, management, and refinement; support cross-team flow to improve efficiencies, value, and delivery.
- Uphold integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to maintain KPMG\'s respectful work environment.
Qualifications
Minimum eight years of experience with multiple agile approaches (Scrum, Kanban, XP, SAFe, Lean, etc.), with the ability to adapt approach to fit team and product environment.Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred; practitioner level certifications (PSM II / CSP) are preferred.Deep expertise in helping teams build trust, safety, and effective communication.Proven track record in facilitating, coaching, and mentoring teams and leaders in agility to rapidly deliver high-impact software in a sustainable way.Experience with full Software Development Life Cycle, advocating for modern agile practices, collaborating with non-agile teams; technical experience developing software, portfolio planning, and / or business experience is preferred; experience scaling agile tools across multiple teams is a plus.Excellent visualization skills to explain and create visual radiators; strong system-level thinking and ability to impact program dynamics.Strong verbal and written communication; ability to interact with all levels, prioritize, delegate, and foster high-performance teams; strong interpersonal, troubleshooting, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously; experience with resource planning processes.Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship now or in the future; no visa sponsorship is available for this opportunity.Legal and compliance
