Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced CT Technologist with ARRT (CT) and BLS certification for night shifts in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

  • Work in an acute care radiology department performing both X-ray and CT imaging
  • Patient population includes general radiology and portable cases with CT exams
  • Uses Healthland (CPSI), Epic EMR, Toshiba CT, Carestream DR, Canon DR, and Fuji PACS systems
  • Night shifts from Thursday to Saturday, 7 : 00 pm to 7 : 00 am
  • Weekend shifts required
  • No on-call required
  • 50 mile radius rule applies; no local travelers accepted
  • Radiation badge must be provided by the traveler’s agency
  • Scrub color is black
  • Hospitalist coverage available
  • ER nurse provides IV assistance if needed
  • Returning travelers to WVU facilities must have a 2-year break if previously employed at any WVU Medicine location
  • Travelers may not work within WVU for longer than one year consecutively and must then take a 2-year break

    • Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of CT technologist experience required
  • Current ARRT and ARRT (CT) certification required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • License required if applicable
  • Experience with Healthland (CPSI) and Epic EMR is beneficial
  • Must provide a copy of your unexpired driver's license for consideration
