  • Join our dynamic team of 12 physicians and 6 APPs, known for their collaborative spirit and commitment to delivering top-notch care at Mercy Hospital Buffalo.
  • Our diverse team brings a wealth of experience from various backgrounds, ensuring reliability and flexibility in patient care.
  • Enjoy a smooth privileging process with our efficient medical staff office, and take advantage of opportunities to lead or join multiple committees.
  • Enhance patient experiences with the support of our dedicated clinical performance nurse, who will assist you throughout the care process.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
  • Hospitalist experience is preferred.
  • We proudly sponsor H1B candidates with in-house visa specialists.

    • Practice in the Heart of the Community

    Scheduling :

  • Enjoy a balanced schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off.
  • Your hours will be from 7 am to 7 pm (day rounding shift).

    • Key Responsibilities :

  • Work in a closed ICU with 24 / 7 intensivist coverage—no procedures required!
  • Manage day hospitalist responsibilities, rounding and discharging 16 to 18 patients per shift.
  • Be part of the rapid response team with intensivist support; no code responsibility as there is a dedicated code blue team.
  • Benefit from excellent subspecialty support.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to share key information and feedback.
  • Utilize EPIC EMR and access our internal informatics platform.

  • Compensation : Anticipated annual earnings for a full-time Hospitalist range from $275k to $295k, including a base salary and incentives.
