Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Sanford, NC 27330 (Central North Carolina healthcare jobs)

Unit : Med / Surg Telemetry (24 beds)

Assignment Type : Travel RN contract

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12 Hour Days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Hours per Week : 36

Weekend Hours : Every other weekend / as needed

Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680-$1800

Electronic Health Record : Cerner

Dress Code : Scrub color of your choice

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active RN license eligible to practice in North Carolina

At least 1 year of recent experience in Med / Surg Telemetry nursing

Required certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPI / HWC / MAB, NIHSS (must be obtained prior to start)

Ability to float to other hospital units as needed

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Med / Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

Provide safe, high-quality nursing care to diverse patient populations in a Med / Surg Telemetry setting

Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry; respond promptly to changes in patient condition

Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as ordered by physicians

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans

Accurately document patient care in the Cerner EHR system

Participate in unit meetings, orientation, and ongoing nursing education

Float to other units and provide clinical support as needed
